When we go to trial, unlike some firms which rent projectors, screens and the like, we own ours and bring it with us at no charge to our clients.
Our file system is entirely paperless. Any document you need can be sent to you electronically and immediately. Our preferred means of communication with our clients is by way of a firewalled protected, secure email system. You will electronically receive copies of entire depositions and digitized photographs of everything relevant to the claim. Electronic billing is available to any of our clients.
We condense volumes of medical records onto a single CD using our own in-house equipment. Instead of receiving stacks of medical and other records for your already bulging files, you'll get a small disk with specific search capabilities allowing you to pull out any entry you need.
Our on line medical and legal library is as comprehensive as any you can find at the largest law firm or medical school in the country. In fact, because of our ties to the University of Texas, we have direct electronic access to the extensive U.T. medical school library. There's no need to go to a medical library to copy an article when it can be downloaded to one of our printers within minutes of pulling it up on system.
We make our own medical illustrations. Our depositions are on discs. As stated above, we have a paperless file system. If you want a document, you don't wait for overnight mail or FAX. We'll transmit it to you electronically, instantly, so it appears on your computer within seconds of you asking for it; even while still talking with us on the phone. When something is needed from any file, our electronic search engines will acquire it faster (and therefore less expensive) than any person can do by way of manual retrieval.
All of this allows us to deliver legal services with an edge over other law firms. For example, our deposition summaries are completed on the computer while the deposition is actually being taken and is available online to our clients within minutes of the deposition's conclusion; not days or weeks later when an attorney gets around to dictating a summary from notes on a yellow legal pad. And our report will include not only what the witness said, but also downloadable digitized video clips and photographs of the actual testimony.
